Placement Highlights


2025-26 season started with the creation of the role of Dean of Career Development, a new leadership position, with Shounak Biswas as the Founding Dean.
With more schools coming up and a much larger number of students requiring to be developed and placed, the department is going to hire two additional resources in the immediate short term and more, as required, in the medium term.

Pre-Placement Training & Skill Development Programs

Aptitude and Soft Skills Training (Pre-Placement training) have been provided to the outgoing BTech and MCA batch in Apr 2025. Similar training has been provided to outgoing MBA students in Nov 2025.
We started Aptitude Training early in 2026 with both 4th and 6th semester (2028 and 2027 passing out batches) from the 1st week of Feb 2026. These consist of 30-36 hours of intensive classroom and workshop sessions with regular assessments and has academic credits attached to it.
OSDA is providing 400 hours of free SAP Training through their partners EME, for the last two years so that students become job ready sooner. It is Government Sponsered Training & Certification Program.
Technical Training in the form of online, offline and hybrid sessions were offered to graduating BTech and MCA students in Oct and Nov 2025. These were conducted by seasoned industry professionals.
An intensive Technical and Behavioural Training Boot Camp was organized for BTech and MCA students (and only Behavioural for MBA students) between 3rd to 8th Jan 2026 with a special focus on placement readiness for TCS and Infosys.
