OBJECTIVES

The aim of the present seminar is to develop special interest & awareness among students, research workers of this region to aspects of modern Mathematics, which is undergoing rapid developments in recent times. The seminar will provide an ideal platform for bringing together Mathematicians by Scientists & Engineers for sharing knowledge of their own with others.

  In the last decade there has been considerable interest in research in Mathematical Analysis & Applied Mathematics. Several outstanding problems have been solved and new areas of research have been opened. Invited Lecturers of eminent scholars shall be arranged during the seminar to take stock of the solved problems & new avenues of research in mathematical analysis.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Authors are requested to submit the abstracts of there papers not exceeding 200 words indicating the motivation of the problem & important results; by 20^th January 2005 to the organizing secretary.

 The authors who intend to publish their paper in one issue of Orissa Mathematical Journal would have to submit the full text paper.

Authors are requested to submit the article to be published in souvenirs by 20^th January to the organizing secretary.

TOPICS

Any branch of pure & applied Mathematics & Mathematical Science but we give priority to Fuzzy logic & wavelet analysis & its application.  

VENUE

The NIST campus is 15Kms from Berhampur, an educationally & culturally rich city of South Orissa. It takes 3 hours to reach Berhampur form Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa. The campus provides an excellent blend of tranquil atmosphere conductive for learning & enjoying nature’s beauty at its best.

                                Weather at NIST campus & Berhampur in the month of February is pleasant with an average maximum temperature 30⁰c & an average minimum temperature 25⁰c.
