PHYSICS LAB-II

FULL MARKS: 50 TIME: 2 HOURS

(A student is required to do six experiments including two from 6 to 10)

1. Determination of wave length of monochromatic light by Fresnel's biprism.

2. Determination of wave length of light by Newton's ring apparatus.

3. Determination of number of lines of a plane diffraction grating.

4. Comparison of em.m.f. of two cells by potentiometer.

5. Determination of characteristics of a p-n junction.

6. Determination of charge of electron by Millikan's oil drop method.

7. Determination of e/m of electron by Braun tube method.

8. Determination of e/m of electron by Helical apparatus.

9. Study of Hall effect apparatus.

10.Determination of characteristics of transistors (common base common emitter transisters.
