Complex Variables:

Review of complex numbers, formulae of Euler & De Moivre, analytic functions, Cauchy-Reimann conditions, elementary complex functions and analyticity, Cauchy’s Theorem and Integral formula, Taylor’s series, complex power series- representation of an analytical function in terms of a power series, Laurent series, residue theorem, contour integration.

Probability & Statistics:

Axiomatic defintion of probability, lawsof probability, conditional probability, random variables, Bayes rule, discrete and continuous random variable, probability mass function, probability density function, mathematical expectation, mean, variance, moment generating function and characteristic function, law of large numbers and central limit theorem, sampling distribution, point and interval estimation, testing of hypothesis, goodness of fit and contingency table.
