The RTO Ganjam has organised a massive awareness program in NIST campus on 25th April during the district wide observation
of 29th National Road Safety week which was flagged off by collector Ganjam Sri Premchand Choudhury early this week at
Chatrapur. In NIST the RTO addressed the hundreds of students on the basic obediency and duty
required to be portrayed by the youth in cities like Brahmapur to manage a proper mobilty in the city.
The students,faculty and staff members interacted on various facets of traffic situation in the city and the
program was ended with an awareness street play staged by the 1st yr students of NIST. The NIST students have
been conteibuting in the awareness of the traffic rules and understandings as volunteers and through street play
groups of nist through out the week at various places of the district. This week long observation was closed with
its valedictory ceremony held on 30th April at Town hall Brahmapur where the students were felicitated by the District
Collector along with other district level administrators.
