Dr. Arun Kumar Padhy, Course Co-ordinator of the B.Tech program, received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Berhampur University in 1997. From 1991 to 1993 he worked as a project fellow in a UGC sponsored project as University Research Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, Berhampur University. In 1996, with the inception of NIST he joined as a fellow member and shouldered many responsibilities. At present he is serving as a Professor. During 2001-2002, he worked as a visiting scientist at the University of Denver, USA, in a US Army Medical Defense project. He has authored around 20 publications in different national and international referred journals. He has presented his work in many national and international conferences. His current research interest includes, Heterocyclic synthesis, photochemistry and molecular electronics.

Dr. Padhy is a life member of all the National bodies related to Chemistry such as Indian Chemical Society, Chemical Research Society of India, Indian Council of Chemistry, and patron member of Orissa Chemical Society. Dr. Padhy has qualified NET (CSIR-UGC). He is the recipient of   Dr. R.K.Nanda award and young scientist award conferred by Orissa Chemical Society.

Completed his M.E. from Jadavpur University. He has an excellent command over research in the field of VLSI Design & Architecture. He has got an experience of more than ten years in the field of teaching. Currently he is one of the core members of the NIST VLSI Group.

Mr. Siddhartha Bhusan Neelamani

Mr. Siddhartha Bhusan Neelamani, Course Coordinator (MCA), received his M.Tech degree in Computer Science from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad in 2000. In 2001, he joined this institution as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and now he is serving as an Assistant Professor. He is incharge of the Master in Computer Application program.

Mr. Shom Prasad Das

Mr. Shom Prasad Das, Course Coordinator (MBA), received his Engineering degree form NIST under Berhampur University, Orissa in 2000. He joined as Software Engineer at NIST Technology Consulting Services at their New Delhi office, where he has worked on various development projects. Before joining NIST as Asst. Professor in Computer Science & Engineering, he was working for Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (TCS) in the capacity of Project Leader. At TCS, Mr. Shom has worked for different clients like American International Group Inc., GE, Toyota etc.

Mr. Shom is a Life Member of Orissa Information Technology Society (OITS) and member of IEEE (USA). He is a Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD). His research interests are in software engineering, object oriented analysis & designing, financial management and data mining. He is currently continuing his Ph.D. in the area of Computational Finance.

His current area of research is Optoelectronic material, Devices and Nano-Photonics. He has presented his research findings and delivered tutorial lectures in many international conferences.

Dr. Motahar Reza

Dr. Motahar Reza, Asst. Professor, Mathematics, done his Ph.D. in Department of Mathematics, IIT , Kharagpur. He has got four years of research experience at IIT, Kharagpur, three and half year of teaching experience at IIT, Kharagpur during Ph.D. He is NET Qualified. Recently he had gone through post doctorate program through BOYSCAST fellowship of DST at Institute of fluid mechanics, Erlangen-Nurnberg University, Germany. He has published more than 12 papers in different international and national journals.
